Perklist: Messaging
Perklist offers a simple and flexible set of real-time messaging tools to help you improve your staff and customer communication. The group messaging feature can be used to update customers on news, events, specials, and more. Individual messaging options can help you connect better with specific customers. There is also an Admin area where you can quickly communicate internal announcements and discuss things with your staff. All messaging options allow you to send text, videos, and images through the Perklist apps.
Group Messaging - To message a group, select the group option and choose whether to message all customers or a specific category of customers. Sending announcements to everyone is an easy way to reach all your customers using Perklist for things like announcements. Messaging a group of guests can be effective for giving your regulars special offers or collecting more targeted feedback. You can put your customers into categories in the Status Options area of the Profile section.
Individual Messaging -For times where you might have closer relationships with specific customers or want to provide more white glove treatment and follow up, you can use the individual messaging features. To message an individual, simply search their name to locate their account and select the individual. Once sent the guest would receive a notification through the Perklist consumer app and they can reply and continue the conversation, which will be shown and saved in your Perklist business app.
If you don’t want some or all of your customers to be able to message you, this can be controlled in the Perks area of your account if you have the Pro plan
Admin Messaging -If you have multiple members of your staff using Perklist, you can use the Admin Messaging as a separate group chat for internal purposes. Messaging in the Admin chat will be restricted to users logged into business accounts, that you can set up in your settings.
