Perklist: Inviting Guests



Perklist gives you creative freedom to offer a wide range of benefits to your guests and choose who can access these benefits. Whether you choose a more exclusive option, an open option, or a combination of both, this article outlines the steps.

Exclusive invites: To keep your benefits more exclusive, you can choose which guests are allowed to join.

You can invite specific guests in two ways:

  • Email invitations: If you already have information on specific guests, add them in Perklist so they receive email invitations with a link to join your program.
  • QR codes: Perklist provides a secure QR code guests can scan to join your program. To help prevent unintended joins or code sharing, the QR code must be scanned in person, is unique for each invite, and expires after 30 minutes.

For both methods, you can customize the information collected and mark fields as optional or required.

Invite New Guest

Open invites: Perklist offers a variety of other options that are more open and allow you to choose how your guests discover and join your Perklist account.

  • Linked URL: A unique URL that is specific to your business and can be shared with guests. This link could be shared with an existing email distribution list, your social media accounts, or linked to your existing website.
  • Printable QR code: A printable QR Code could be placed in your business near check-out registers, waiting areas, or customer tables to encourage signups.
  • Menu viewing: Perklist offers an interactive menu that can be shared with guests and allows them to view items, pictures, and join your account from the menu to receive benefits that could include secret menu items or other special perks.
  • Survey Feedback: Surveys can be created within Perklist and shared with guests via unique URLs or QR Codes. After submitting feedback, guests can have the option to join your account and receive benefits.


QR Code Invite

All of these options can be enabled / disabled by going to Profile > Invite Options. Within this section, you also have options to customize the landing page and choose which fields are required for guest signups.
