Perklist's AI Assistant feature makes it easy for you to add a generative AI chatbot to your website to answer questions about your menu, products and business. And it can be set up in just a few minutes!
Your AI Assistant can be a great way to increase digital engagement and respond to customer questions in real time. It can answer questions in a surprisingly thoughtful manner about your menu or custom content you’d like it to know, helping customers form a positive impression of your business.
Getting started is simple and can be done in a matter of minutes. Just upload an image or .pdf of your menu or list of products and it will automatically be imported into a structured format that you can review and customize further as you like. You can also add other information about your business hours, policies, FAQs and more to be referenced when answering questions.
Once you have provided this information, you can copy and paste a couple lines of code to your website to enable the chat icon to appear for your customers to interact with. Or you can add a unique link to a AI assistant hosted page on Perklist. Here is an example of what the chat prompt looks like embedded in a page like a menu page (prompt is in the lower right). And here is an example of the hosted AI Assistant that can be used via a link.
In addition to being able to customize the information the AI Assistant should know, you can also personalize the look and feel by choosing a name for the AI Assistant, a color for the chat icon, and what side of the page it should appear on.
Once your AI Assistant is up and running, you can track the conversations it has in the logs and get insights on what questions customers have and how you might improve the information available to customers.
You can try out the AI Assistant for free as part of a Perklist trial, and after that get 1,000 answers included in Perklist Premium and 2,500 included for Perklist Pro. After that additional answers are only 1 cent per message and can be deducted from a Prepaid balance.
